:mad: Have you noticed that it’s just about every five or six months that another rumor surfaces about how Apple is definitely working on some sort of handheld computer? Seems like a shame to raise the hopes of all those Newtonheadz, but this time around PowerPage, which has been right enough about this stuff before to land themselves in some serious legal hot water (and also been wrong plenty of times, too, we should note), reports that Apple is working on some sort of new mini laptop/pockettop that will fold neatly “into your pocket” and run on a stripped down version of OS X and use Apple’s Inkwell handwriting recognition technology. They’re describing it as being something like a large Motorola RAZR V3, just with a keyboard. Not entirely outside the realm of possibility, but given how flat the market for PDAs is these days it seems like a really odd time for Apple to be diving in. You’d think there be way more demand for a tablet Mac than some sort of pocket Mac, right? :kiss:
