Changes in TMPGEnc 4.0 XPress Version 4.2.3.193 - October 18 2006:
New Windows Media Player 11 Beta and Windows Media Video 9 Advanced Profile support.
New You are now able to select the display or source size in the Output preview window.
New PV3 HD capture card format is now supported through the PV3 Reader. (Requires the AviUtl plug-in EARTH SOFT DV.aui Ver 2.4.4)
Updated The maximum number of B Pictures is now limited to 3 in the Main profile, following the MPEG-4 AVC specifications.
Fixed You can no longer choose an unauthorized framerate for a specified DivX output profile.
Fixed An error where the aspect ratio of a 4:3 740x480 WMV source displayed as Other (xx) instead of 4:3 has been fixed.
Fixed In the subtitles filter editor, an error which occured when pressing the space bar while no text is selected has been fixed.
Fixed An error which occured when starting the Batch encode tool if QuickTime 7.1.3 is installed has been fixed.
Fixed The appearance of the "An error occured while structuring the clip edit window" warning has been fixed.
Fixed An error where the deinterlace filter in "Replication - simple" and "Replication - animation" mode inverts the lowest field has been fixed.
Fixed An error which may have occured during a picture resize has been fixed, and the the amount of memory used has been reduced.
Fixed Depending the display size, the Overlay display mode added a black line around the picture; this has been fixed.
Fixed Outputting a 16:9 source in PNG or JPG sequential pictures with the keep aspect ratio enabled displayed white top and bottom bars instead of black; this has been fixed.
Fixed Abnormal terminations which may have occured when opening a DVR-MS file with the DirectShow file reader have been fixed.
Fixed Outputting a resized DivX or MP4 while keeping the aspect ratio may have resulted in an abnormal aspect ratio and black framing; this has been fixed.
Fixed Using the DivX reader resulted in false aspect ratio values, framerate values, etc. displaying in the Clip properties window; this has been fixed.
Fixed MPEG-2�A720x480 2.21:1 in the Clip properties window are now correctly recognized.
Fixed DivX file output format non-standard parameters fixes:
--Non-compliant HDTV profile macroblock maximum limit in interlaced and progressive mode has been corrected;
--It is now possible to select an other aspect ratio than 1:1 in Home theatre profile;
--It is now possible to select the bidirectionnal encoding (B frame output) when using a profile with interlaced mode video type;
--It is no longer possible to select GMC/Quarterpixel search when using a profile;
--You can no longer select a non-compliant audio bitrate;
--A problem with some of the standard audio bitrate value selection has been fixed.

1.Install program with "TE4XP_Retail_4.2.3.193_setup_en.exe"

2.Copy "TMPGEnc4XP.en.lic" to
"C:\Documents and Settings\[User's name]\Application Data\Pegasys Inc\TMPGEnc4XP"

3.Copy "TMPGEnc4XP.exe" and "TMPGEnc4XPBatch.exe" to
"C:\Program Files\Pegasys Inc\TMPGEnc 4.0 XPress\" overwrite old ones.
