Sweden's WITCHERY have returned from the dead after a four year hiatus to deliver their highly-anticipated fifth full-length offering, Witchkrieg. Led by Patrick Jensen (The Haunted), WITCHERY's spell was first cast upon our earthly existence back in 1997. Due to Jensen's touring commitments with his main band, The Haunted, he has been forced to keep WITCHERY in hibernation for the past several years. Thankfully the band members found time recently to record their latest thrash metal masterpiece, Witchkrieg. The album was produced once again by Tue Madsen at Antfarm Studios (The Haunted, Heaven Shall Burn, Mnemic) and features some of the band's catchiest, yet most savage material to date. Add to that an all-star lineup of guests and this could well be the quintessential WITCHERY release.
