    Please do the following steps:
    ===================
    1. first uninstall any Internet Explorer 7 files (beta versions) from Add/remove programs, if you have any.
    2. Download the following files:

Windows Activation Bypass dll file (contains IECustom.dll ) (72KB)

    3. Extract the above 2 files in seperate folders
    4. Copy the patched iecustom.dll to the Update folder of the extracted IE7 setup file. Overwrite any existing file. IMPORTANT: All our actions are in update folder only.
    5. Run update.exe from the Update folder to start the IE7 installation setup. (Do not run iesetup.exe). It will immediately show as activation completed after starting for a moment. Remember no internet connection is required. Switch it off if you need to icon_smile.gif
    6. At the end of the successful IE7 installation process, you will be asked to restart Windows, DO NOT RESTART Windows now! Click on the box ‘Do not restart now’ and then select the ‘Finish’ button.
    7. Run the update XmlLiteSetup.exe (Hotfix for Windows XP KB915865) in update folder to install or actualize the file xmllite.dll, otherwise there may be problems with menubars such as some items are missing or incomplete, or tabs is not working or not appearing.
    8. Run the update NlsDl.exe in update folder (M'zoft National Language Support Downlevel APIs).
    9. Run the update IdnDl.exe (M'zoft Internationalized Domain Names Mitigation APIs).
    10. Restart the Windows.
    11. During first run it will go to runonce website. Select your search engine etc. Then you may be able to change homepage to blank etc by clicking the arrow near home icon.
